General Grade Stainless Steel Round bar Feature

304L Stainless Steel is an extra-low carbon version of the alloy steel 304. The lower carbon content in 304L minimizes detrimental or damaging carbide precipitation due to welding. 304L can be used "as welded" in severe corrosion environments and eliminates the need for annealing.

This grade has slightly lower mechanical properties than the standard 304 grade but is still widely used thanks to its flexibility. Like type 304 stainless steel, it is commonly used in beer-brewing and wine-making but also for purposes beyond the food industry such as chemical containers, mining and construction. It is ideal for metal parts such as nuts and bolts exposed to salt water. 304L Stainless Steel Round Bar has a low carbon content of 304 Stainless Steel variants for welding occasions.

Overview of Stainless Steel Round Bar

  • A round bar is a general shape in the stainless steel industry. It is a solid round bar with a circular section. Its diameter specifications, usually expressed in millimetres (mm), such as "50mm", means the diameter of the round bar is 50mm.

  • Ss round bar generally includes 3 process ways, t hot rolled, forged and cold drawn. Hot rolled bar specifications for 5.5-250 mm.

  • Forged for bars over 250mm in diameter, cold drawn for sizes under 50mm, primarily straight 5.5-25mm round small beams are supplied and are commonly used as steel, bolts and various mechanical parts; more than 25mm round steel, mainly for manufacturing mechanical parts, blank seamless steel tube, etc.

  • Grades: 201/310/304/316/2205 round bar, etc.

Stainless Steel Round Bar Application

It is mainly used for aircraft engine blades, casings, fasteners, combustion chambers, discs, shafts, combustion chamber walls, liquid oxygen kerosene engines, projectiles, steam cylinders, and propulsion devices. It is widely used in aerospace, aviation, nuclear power, petroleum, chemical industry, food, environmental protection, marine development, boiler heat exchangers and other fields.

Cold rolled products look good shiny, and beautiful; due to the addition of Mo, corrosion resistance, especially excellent resistance to pitting corrosion; excellent resistance to high temperatures; excellent work hardening (weak magnetic processing) non-magnetic state of solution.

316 Stainless Steel Round Bar

SS 316 Round Bar is the second most widely used grade after 304, mainly for the food industry and surgical equipment, due to the addition of Mo. Thus, its corrosion resistance, atmospheric corrosion resistance, and resistance to high temperatures are excellent. SS 316 Round Bar suppliers offer the best quality products.

304L Stainless Steel Round Bar

SS 304L Round Bar has a low carbon content of 304 Stainless Steel variants for welding occasions. The lower carbon content minimizes carbide precipitation in the heat-affected zone adjacent to the weld, and carbide precipitation can cause stainless steel to cause intergranular corrosion (weld erosion) in some environments.

 304 Stainless Steel Round Bar

SS 304 Flanges is the most widely used chromium-nickel stainless steel, with good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low-temperature resistance and mechanical properties. Corrosion in the atmosphere must be cleaned up quickly to prevent corrosion, whether in an industrial atmosphere or a heavily polluted area.
